Day 2 of 100....
Its been a GREAT day so far! This morning i got up feeling refreshed, took a shower and went to the salon. I was about 20 minutes early for work so i met up with my best friend and we grabbed some coffee and caught up with eachother for the day. The salon was pretty slow today.....only 3 haircuts!! hahaha at least SOMEONE came in though :)
My favorite thing is when someone comes in with an AWFUL jacked up haircut and they tell u that they want a new look and for you to do whatever you think would look best. I LOVE makeing people feel like a million bucks when they walk out of the salon. I love seeing the smile on their face whenever ur cutting the finishing touches. I love when they come back to u over and over and i get to know them on a more personal level. mmmmm not very many people can say they truely LOVE their job. Praise Jesus i can be one of the few.
Today my song of the day is.... "The earth is yours...by: Michael Gungor", its been stuck in my head ALLLL day long! haha i LOVE the lyrics and melody to it!!!

DAY 1* Epic
Today was the 1st day of my 100 days of positive postings :) I'm SOOOOOO excited! haha it may be super late but by golly i was going to post SOMETHING up! :)
I started off the morning in a GREAT mood! Putting my makeup on, doing my hair(same old same old)...HOWEVER there was a change...This morning ashley(sister) made me PANCAKES!!! haha she even buttered them for me! Talk about starting the day off with a blessing!!!! I went to work right after that.....nothing really eventful happened there so ill skip on to tonight. At 6:30 i headed over to "seven" which is the youth ministry at our church on Wednesday nights. It was a GREAT NIGHT and there were 7 new kids(ironic i know)!!!
Its exciting to see how God uses us for a specific reason....i may not be able to run lights or sing on stage, but every week i am BLOW away at how God uses ME to impact some little girls life. After church was through at about 9:30 we went over to our favorite spot of "CHILI'S" and fellowshiped there til 12....haha and that is where i am at now :) Home laying in bed ready and excited for a great day tomorrow :)

the NEW beginning
My 1st ever REAL blog! This is a new and exciting endeavor, haha WISH ME LUCK! I thought it would be good to start off with a list of things that make me the happy. carefree. artistic person that i am......
long walks, the smell of hot coffee, bonfires, boating on the lake, going camping in the mountains, chick-fil-a sweet tea, good cameras, wearing my toms, the smell of a good perfume, doing a new hair coloring technique the song "hosanna" by: hillsong, cherry Garcia ice cream, the smell of fresh cut grass, being with people i love, Martha Stewart magazines, cooking salmon, walking through the canvas isle at "hobby lobby", down comforters, fashion scarves, opening a brand new can of paint, setting down alone to play piano, going on long car trips, Christmas fondue, getting brand new socks and wearing them for the 1st time, going to the pool with my HUGE lemon slushie, listening to bob Marley or jack Johnson and banana bread with cheese.
These are only a few things to start off with :) For the next 100 days I'm going to write a blog about at least 1 positive thing that happened to me that day! I think it will be exciting to look back and see all the things that i might have taken for granted. :) as for tonight, I'm tired, and my bed is calling me!!! :)
